ROYGBiV Tmog Contest - April's Winner(s)

Had my bank account allowed it, I would have chosen all the entries this month as winners. You all are blowing me away with the outfits you have been submitting. This month has been the best, in my eyes, thus far.

I know yellow isn't the "friendliest" color to work with. It can be either so bright that it hurts the eyes or so dull that it looks like something from a babies diaper. *blech*

But ALL of you really mastered the color yellow this month....and that made my decision extremely hard. In the end I had to go with the two outfits that jumped out at me and, in my gutt, said, "Yeah, you know I'm the one to win!".

If you missed my most recent post, I mentioned that I would be choosing two winners this month. I have some beta keys, for the game Everquest Landmark, and decided that I would offer them up as prizes in place of the Soul of the Aspects companion pet, should the winners choose.

So, Navimie and Dragonray, let me know which prize you would like. You can either post your answer in the comments section of this post or email me your choice. I will send them out as soon as I hear from you each.

I also mentioned, in my most recent post, that I would be holding an in-game contest (Lawn Darts - WoW Style) for the remaining beta keys. I have changed my mind on that, however.

I have decided that for the remainder of the ROYGBiV Tmog Contest, or until I run out of beta keys, I will be choosing two winners and giving them each the choice of a companion pet or a beta key. I chose to do that this month because the outfits submitted were so darned good I knew I would have a hard time picking just one.

(Little secret - picking two wasn't any easier)

I have a feeling, deep down in my belly, that the remaining months of the contest are not going to get any easier for me to choose just one winner. I will choose two winners from now on until I run out of beta keys.

ROYGBiV Tmog Contest - April Deadline (with a twist)

Today's the day. Get those submissions to me!

You all are really getting better at this. I have received 5 entries so far and I want to declare ALL of them winners. They are outstanding outfits!!!! I have no idea how I am going to pick 2 winners.

"Two winners? Huh? What are you talking about?"

You caught that did you? Well, this month I'm doing something a little different. I am picking two winners and you will have a choice at which prize you would like. One prize, as you all know, is the Soul of the Aspects companion pet from the Blizz store. The other prize has nothing to do with WoW.

For the last month I have been dabbling in the beta for EverQuest Landmark and I have beta keys to give away. Yes, I said "beta keys"...plural. I have more than one. I have 4 to be exact.

Should you each choose a beta key, I will send one to you. Should you each choose the companion pet, I will send one to you. If one of you choose a beta key and the other the pet that is what you will get. Either way, you win!! Woo Hoo!

Don't fret if you didn't win this month and would love to get your hands on a beta key. I am throwing another contest. This one will be short and sweet however. I have not decided on a date and time yet, but I am planning an event for inside the wonderful world of Azeroth.

The event is 'Lawn Darts - WoW Style'. What it entails is lots of laughter and lots of toon suicide. I will be picking a floating island in Nagrand where we will all meet. I will then jump to my death (repeatedly) and whom ever lands closest to me wins. We will do this 5 times to get 5 winners.

Those 5 winners will then jump one more time, after I jump again, and the two, or three, who land the closest will win a beta key. I say "two or three" because, depending on how the Tmog contest winners choose their prize this month, I could have a third beta key to give away.

Now that I think about it, I could have all 4 beta keys up for grabs should the Tmog contest winners each choose a companion pet.

When I post the results for this month's winners I will also include more information about the lawn darts event.

I've been having a lot of fun in the Landmark beta. So far, terraforming has been what I've enjoyed most. You'll notice below quite a few "before" and "after" photos.

The first few photos are of my most recent builds. So far I "think" I have created, or started to create, something like 10 builds. Most of them were deleted for one reason or another. The ones I have screenies of are the ones I liked best. Enjoy!

The main claim. This is my "hub". Everyplace needs a good "hub" to gather at.

The second claim, my "crafting corner".

The third claim, my "island hide-a-way". You have to grapple hook your way to the top!

I've started a massive subterranean area beneath all three of the above claims. I'll post more photos when it's done.
